EMMA'S POV
Sebastian saw me. Of course he did. He always did. And the moment his eyes locked on mine, I turned and bolted.
"Emma! Wait!" he called out, his voice echoing behind me. I didn’t stop. I didn't know where I was running to but I needed to be far away from them. From the courthouse. From everything.
"Emma, stop! Just listen to me!" I heard Seb yell from behind me as he ran after me.
"Leave me alone!" I snapped, not even looking back.
But he didn’t give up. He didn’t stop. I felt his hand brush against my arm as he tried to grab me, and in one swift move, I whirled around and moved out of his reach. My chest was pounding.
"What do you want, Sebastian?" I spat, glaring at him angrily. "I saw it. I saw everything. She kissed you! On your freaking face!"
His face twisted with shock. "Emma, it’s not what you think…"
