Emma’s POV
It felt like everywhere was full of noise. I walked into the studio feeling like I was barely breathing. I was looking at the gallery, but I wasn't looking at the artwork at all.
My heartbeat continued to blare in my ears.
My body felt weak; I was tired.
It was way more than physical exhaustion. I was also emotionally tired and felt empty.
"Emma?" Abigail called out as she took in what I looked like. She rushed towards me.
I knew I looked terrible, and I tried to fix my appearance, but I could not bring myself to. I let her see all of my vulnerability the way I was.
"Emma, what is wrong," she said with a soft voice as she looked at me and reached out to hold me.
It was when she held on to me that I realized that my body was trembling.
"Emma, you don't look good. Do you need any medical attention?" She took me to her enclosed office, where she helped me sit.
She looked at me quietly and wrapped her hands around me again.
"You know you can tell me whatever is going on, right?
