Ransom

I was awoken by a smoke of drowsiness floating through my nose, eyes, and ears. Dizziness circled around my senses as my stomach grumbled in a mix of hunger and pain. I don't like this feeling at all. I feel like puking my insides out. My body felt sore for what seems like hours of sitting and my hands were tied on my back with thick layers of rope. My legs too were tied and I had no shoes on.
What happened? Where am I?
