Chapter 24- Dinner with the Packs
I watch as shock fills them. They begin looking desperately to find anyone else who would take their side, which typically happens at meetings. The Alphas address the Beta of other packs with respect. No other members have a higher position other than the Alpha. “Understood.” They nod in agreement before turning to face my father, who is as white as a ghost. “What do you want?” Dad whispers as he approaches Onyx and holds his head down low in defeat. “Keep away from Briar and Judith, and there will be no problems for you or your pack.” He spits before motioning me away toward the doors.
Inside I find Judith helping hand out drinks. “Judith, I would like to introduce you to Alpha Onyx,” I say, smiling brightly.
