Dad immediately gets up and stalks toward Onyx, who is doing everything possible to stay within his human form. I can see his hands slowly changing, and his willpower is still strong. “Dad, don’t!” I scream as I run past him, body block him from Onyx. “Get out of my way.” He growls. “No, he will kill you if you continue.” “No, he will not.” “He will, and then he will take over the pack. Is that what you want?” My words finally break through his anger, and he looks at me. “Why does he have your scent on him?” He asks in anger. “Why have you come here?” I demand. “Answer my question first.” “You lost all rights to any answers from me after you allowed members of your pack to attack me. What have you come for?” I request the answer a second time. “You will answer my question. That is an order.” He demands.
