After allowing the King to read over Michaels's plans if he were to become Alpha, Onyx and I head into the pool for a quick cool-off. “What are your thoughts?” Onyx asks me as he holds me against the wall in the pool's deep end. “About what?” I ask as I rub my body against his, pleading for relief. “About if Michael should be alpha or not.” He whispers as he kisses my mark, lighting a fire within my core. “We aren’t going to talk about that right now,” I state as I kiss him deeply.
