Chapter 58 – Breakfast with the Elders
I stand stunned in my place as I look at the seven elders shifting before me. “Briar,” Onyx warns me a second time when I finally snap out of it. “What did your Alpha request of you?” I demand from them in my Alpha tone. It is so strong that it almost scares me. Onyx looks over at me, horrified. “Answer, now,” I demand deeper and watch as they all tremble and sit. “Human form, now,” I order again.
Within moments they are all shifted back into their human form and holding their heads down in a bow to me. “Now, Onyx said good morning,” I state nicely before returning my attention to him. Onyx has a look of shock and awe on his face as he watches me. The elders' mumbles of “Good morning” spread through the room before I snap Onyx out of it. “Go ahead, my dear. The room is yours.” I insist. He blinks his eyes a few times, nods, and turns to the elders. “Anyone care to tell me what the argument was over?” He asks them before leading me
