Eleanor's POV
Sebastian is a VIP and people respect him everywhere he goes. The respect was based on fear, though, because people who knew him found him intimidating.
However, Michael showed no sign of being scared of him. He looked very relaxed on the couch.
When I placed the second cup of coffee in front of him, he said to Sebastian,
“I have a shortage of manpower in my company, your staff seems great, will you let me have her?
I felt irritated that I was being discussed like some sort of household object.
Before I could say anything, I felt the shifting atmosphere. Sebastian was angry.
“Did you just hear what he said? He asked, looking at me expectantly.
I realized he stepped back, permitting me to deal with Michael myself.
I didn't need a second thought before I could do what I had been dying for.
