Since he couldn't contact Mira, Rendi decided to call Peter and swear at him without hesitation. "What are you doing? You know Mira is mine!"
Peter smiled at Mira and standing up from his seat. He excused himself to take the call from Rendi in the side yard so that Mira couldn't hear Rendi's shouting on his cell phone.
""Chill out man," Peter said as he laughed at his luck. He looked at Mira who was concentrating on preparing lunch for the two of them.

Peter calmed Rendi down while holding back his emotions. "In actual fact, you and Mira were only involved in a one-night stand. You haven't dated until now, so don't blame me if Mira now choose me over continuing your adventure. It was all just a coincidence and nothing to take seriously, Ren.
