Sighing, I knocked on the door, and not long after a petite brunette stuck her head out.
“Charlotte?” She squeaked.
Nodding my head, I smiled at her. “Sydney.”
Her mouth dropped open as she kept staring at me. “Can I come in?” I asked after a stretch of uncomfortable silence.
“Ye...yes.” She stuttered, opening the door wider for me to enter.
Walking in, I could help but envy the manner which in her house was well organized and neat.
“What would you like?” She asked rubbing her hands on the briefs she wore.
“I'm okay but I need to talk to you," I said and I saw her pull a
tight smile on her lips. “Sydney, I'm sorry.” I continued as I began moving back to her.
“Sorry for what? You did me no wrong,” she stated, laughing it off.
But I saw through her act. “Please don't be like this?" I pleaded with her, placing my hand on hers.
