"So you and Elias spoke today? Anything happen I should know except him nabbing my babies?" Edith asked as I blushed and ate my meal quietly.
"Nothing much, we talked a little and he picked up the kids. He looked like crap but I'm sure the kids will cheer him up."
"What about you?"
"I'm okay and if I'm not..." I held her hand. "I have a strong, confident, young looking and beautiful woman like you."
Edith laughed as she shook her head. "I've finally caught the one whose been teaching my grandson to be a smooth talker."
"And you love it." I stated as we both burst out in laughter.
"Mom there's something I want to talk to you about." I said as I cleaned my mouth and dropped the napkin, determined to tell mom about the man I believe is Jon.
