The music thumped deep in my ears. I kept scrolling through job listings, my thumb sluggish, and my eyes dry.
Ugh. Nothing.
Either the positions were already filled, or the offers were bad, underpaid, overworked, or flat-out scams.
I let out a long sigh and dragged my palm over my face, pressing into my closed eyes. What the hell was I going to do?
