It was still warm and sunny during the day. However, it started drizzling at night, causing the temperature to drop.
Chelsey was comfortably warm under her blanket. Yet, the thought of Lucas standing in the rain kept her up.
She slowly sat up, opened the wardrobe, and took out a fluffy blanket.
Before heading downstairs, Chelsey peeked out from the French window.
Lucas had already moved to the pavilion.
Amid a rainy night, he stood there, exuding grace and charm.
With the fluffy blanket in hand, Chelsey headed downstairs.
She did not feel cold as the house had underfloor heating. However, the second the door opened, the chilly wind blew in, causing her to shiver.
Before Chelsey could step out, a tall, sturdy figure blocked the opened door. The person shielded her from the cold wind, too.
A smile appeared on Lucas' face when he saw the blanket in Chelsey's hand.
"Are you here to give me the blanket?"
Chelsey did not respond. She merely stuffed the blanket into Lucas'
