Dianne had a traditional way of seeing the world. She'd been thinking about this for the past few days.
Although the Jenson family had no problem caring for Chelsey and her baby, people would still look down on the baby when they learned he didn't have a father.
"Chels, I think Lucas has repented for his mistakes," said Dianne.
"If you two marry again, your baby will be raised in a complete family. Just give it some thought, alright?"
Chelsey recalled the time Lucas hugged her tightly to protect her from the truck that was headed her way and felt her heart shatter at the thought.
She didn't want to discuss it anymore, so she changed the topic.
"Grandma, have you and Grandpa gotten used to living in the hills?"
"Yes. Your grandfather and I went for a walk in the morning. We'd have lunch and head to the church to pray in the evening. I feel so calm nowadays," Dianne said.
"You can bring your baby and stay here temporarily when he's older. I'm sure you'll like this place."
