Ezekiel whom had been lost in his thoughts was snapped back to the present when he heard his name being called repeatedly by Simon.
Simon was briefing him on decisions that needed his attention, though Ezekiel thought that many of them could be handled by his Beta.
"We have an upcoming elite gathering this evening and as Alpha, you're supposed to attend it." Simon reminded Ezekiel and he nodded in understanding.
He understood but his pack had lacked a Luna since Alyssa's departure. How was he going to attend without his Luna? Hearing his words, his wolf couldn't help but scoff.
"Like you have ever thought of taking her to any of the pack's gathering before.. Even though she was still here, you would never have thought of bringing her to the event." He mocked.
Ezekiel knew it was the truth and that only made him angry. He couldn't stand his wolf constantly reminding him about how badly he had treated Alyssa so he blocked off the connection with him.
