I forgot my pain in a moment, immediately my eyes locked with Lucian, who was standing at the door, and my wolf stirred within me.This was the man I loved with everything in me, and I longed to see his face so badly after being reincarnated.
He walked fully into the room, not looking at me long enough to suggest he had any interest in what was happening to me.
He headed straight at Gizmo and I could feel the tension between the two. Nothing's changed between them. Even though they are brothers, they never got along.
"What is all this noise this night?" Lucian asked him unsmilingly, and Gismo scoffed.
"I don't see how this is any of your business," he replied with the same energy.
"It might have passed you but some of us are trying to sleep," Lucian said.
"This building belongs to me as much as it does you," Gizmo pointed out. "And I will do whatever hell I want to do. If you are not down with the noise then sleep somewhere."
