Kenji’s POV
“Maybe Damballa can finish telling us the story of his Realm while we wait.” Now that I know that Jamari has awakened I can finally relax for a moment. I plop myself on one of the dainty chairs that Levi chose to decorate our living room with, letting out a relieved sigh. The tension in my muscles begin to leave as I let myself sink deeper into the tiny chair.
“You were able to hear Damballa as he spoke to me?” Levi takes his seat on the couch, elbows resting on his knees as he leans forward, surprise written in his features.
My brows furrow at his question. Was I not supposed to hear the Demon speaking to Levi? Running my fingers through my hair, I pull one of my long legs over the other, searching for comfort in this Goddess awful chair. What was Levi thinking when he bought this monstrosity?
