~KAHLAN AND JUSTIN~
Justin had received a text from Kahlan, asking him to come over. Of course, he didn’t have to hesitate and was on his way out the door as soon as he read the message. When he got to her house he was surprised that the front door was unlocked. He stepped in slowly, looking around. She wasn’t the type to just leave the door opened like this.
“Kahlan?”
“I’m up here!" He followed the voice to the second floor, into the master bedroom. The window was wide open, the curtains pulled to the side. Justin smiled as he walked over, poking his head out. Kahlan sat on the roof, feet hanging off the side as she stared out over the top of buildings, seeing a large body of water and the sun disappearing behind it. It was a beautiful view.
