Lydia couldn't wait to get home before she related the news to Carson, so instead she made her way to his office.
Getting into the large building, she asked the lady behind the table that she wanted to see Attorney Carson
“Do you have an appointment with him?”
“Actually, not really. I just had something really important to tell him” Lydia explained, but the woman shook her head.
“I'm sorry, ma. Or else you have an appointment with him, you cannot see him. Mr. Carson is a very busy man. You can't just see him whenever you like”
Lydia pressed her lips together because she knew what the lady was saying was true to certain people, but not to her. She was a special one. Carson had always given her his time. Mostly at night whenever everyone else was asleep.
“Can you just tell him that Lydia is here to see him?” She asked and the lady frowned
“You don't seem to get it. I don't care who you are, Mr. Carson is unavailable. He will not attend to you, even if he slept with you just a night
