Carson carried Lydia in his arms and took her into the house. He called Nick to examine her, and his friend happily obliged.
Carson sat beside her unconscious body and waited for Nick to arrive.
Ma'am Anny who had seen Lydia, was happy, but she stopped the children from seeing their mother because of the bad state she was in.
Nick finally came, and he checked on Lydia and treated some of her wounds. Luckily, he detected no internal wounds but insisted that Carson brought her to the hospital, once she awakened.
“When will she wake up?” Carson questioned and looked lovingly at Lydia.
“In a few hours. I'm so glad that she's back, though injured but at least, she's safe” Nick smiled and stared at Lydia as well.
“Me too” Carson nodded, he took his hand to Lydia's hair and stroked it gently.
“I'm going to find those culprits and destroy them without thinking twice. Their case shouldn't end in court but be taken personally” Carson said with vindictiveness.
