“You make me blush,” she said with already flushed cheeks.
“It’s the pure truth. I’ve never been more honest than I am now. You’re like a little witch who confused me with her charms. You managed one day to steal my heart that I thought was locked up and shielded from these sweethearts that I thought were fools,” I confessed.
“What nonsense are you talking about there? I have done nothing. I wanted to show you what love is,” she retorted.
“That’s not true. You stole my attention and forced your way in where you weren’t allowed. You’re a very sly woman!” I said, laughing.
“Sneaky!? You like me like that, don’t you? And yet I don’t understand why Emily couldn’t win you over.” She was trying to get me to tell her about my life, only she didn’t know that things were done the way I wanted and when I wanted.
