I took the paper she gave me and it ended up on the floor when I discovered the pictures of my dad. It said something about Luiza being the sole guardian of the girls, Emily and Gaby.
I was looking for the logical thread of information, but it was nowhere to be found, or maybe I just didn’t want to understand. It all entered my mind, racking me even more than I already was.
