Millie quickly looked away. The cab soon vanished into the night. The sight sent a slow, stabbing pain across Winston's heart.
Jake repeated Rachel's remark. "He's a total idiot!"
Winston stared at the ground with a dry smile. "I am."
"Have you given that necklace to Millie?" asked Jake.
"She turned it down," Winston revealed.
He delivered the items, but she refused to accept them.
Jake pressed on. "Did you give her that two-piece butterfly jewelry set?"

Jake gasped in surprise. "I can't believe she turned them down. I thought she loved butterflies. Gosh…"
At that moment, Winston received a call from Eli.
Eli reported, "We have seized the goods of Lowell Group. Their men nearly got into a fight with us at the port just now."
