Corey’s Pov
“You are being cheesy right now”
“Am I?” I replied in sarcasm.
The door banged open interrupting from our conversation. I averted my gaze to the door; it was Liam. He looked terrified and shocked, he was profusely sweating like he had just ran a marathon race.
He paused for a bit on seeing us together and began murmuring words to himself. He seemed like he was debating if he should say something or not.
“What is it, Liam?” I demanded alerted at the way he looked.
“Some bad shit is going on, Alpha” he uttered as he stared at me. The look on his face pointed out that it wasn’t something ordinary.
“What is it, Beta?” I mind linked him. I didn’t want Mia to hear what had gone wrong.
“The Pack is under threat, Alpha”
“What?”
“I found dead bodies at the borders while running through the woods”
“I think you need to come take a look yourself”
I instantly pulled away from Mia and headed out.

I noticed Liam trying to catch up with me but I
