There was a knock on Xavier’s door a few minutes after he went back to his office. He groaned inwardly and reluctantly muttered ‘come in’ to whoever had made it their mission to disturb his peace that afternoon. Considering the situation, he was more angry at the fact that for the last few minutes, his mind had been on one person so much that he had forgotten he was even at the office.
The young male intern opened the door, walked into the office and greeted him. Xavier looked at him for a few moments. He had no idea what this intern even did at his company.
