Maybe this was always what it was supposed to be. When I tried with Zain’s help to look in the future of our own, we could never really see anything. I knew better than to let it drive me crazy as it can always change, we just thought it’s because it was us and we can only see other people’s future. What if we couldn’t see it because we weren’t together anymore.
“Hey… have you fallen asleep? Let’s go.” Jackson beckons with his hand as he jumped up from the bed. Slightly overwhelmed by the sudden change it takes me a moment to realise what is happening.
He notices how undecided I am, so he stops and listens. “Are you okay?” He holds his hand out for me. “Trust me, you will be fine. I will look after you, no one will ever hurt you again.” He adds.
