My legs almost give out from under me and soon I can feel her hands on me, whispering words of concern into my ears and asking if I'm okay.

I can imagine my father would have rolled his eyes if he was present but I'm not exaggerating, I really do need to catch my breath. I ran as fast as i can, all the way from Reeve's place and almost through half the city at top speed.
Lesser men would have died but the only thing on my mind had been the thread and the way I had messed up massively. I would have never been able to forgive myself if anything had happened to her, but she's safe now.
