Joy's POV
Although a larger number of reinforcements from the rogue army came, the Rogue Queen made one mistake. Just one. One teenie tiny one.
She got distracted for a split second before finishing me off for good.
The big, blue Alpha's thundering growl clapped throughout the forest and soon enough, Lex's warriors were surrounding the rogue army led by Dante, Rowland and Bella.
Alpha Carl set up camp on a high mound and smirked at his ex.
"I told you. My children won't disappoint me. They have my precious Luna's blood in them after all,” he taunted, and that is when I mustered all my strength and "imitated" a fly, effectively escaping the evil queen's clutches before falling and crashing down on Lex's wolf's foot.
The pain notched up higher and almost burned my core with the dire need of getting filled up.
I glanced up at Austin and his eyes were ultra focused on the murderess of his mother before they sensed my gaze and looked down at me softly.
"Mate !” he tenderly licked my cheek
