I tried to fight against the pounding ache in my head and creep out of Lex’s medical facility whilst his shocked father demanded explanations from the blue wolf.
However, my benumbed body did not feel like leaving the bed as it hit back the plush mattress as if pulled by a magnet.
Oh god, I did not want to face my mate.
I did not want to be rejected.
I was completely, fully, entirely, wholly, desperately satisfied with only Lex’s wolf accepting me.
Half an Alpha accepting me back as his mate was way better than complete rejection from the whole package.
