Episode 15
Sophie widened her eyes as she stared at the cheque with so many thoughts running through her mind.
"Could be a mistake?"
"No, no, it can't be a mistake, if it was a mistake, how was my name written on it?" She soliloquies.
She felt a tap on her shoulder and she almost lost her breath, she shut her eyes tight.
"Sophie, honey..." She heard Mrs Dacey's voice, she took a deep breath and sighed before quickly inserting the cheque in her purse, then turned to Mrs Dacey.
Mrs Dacey saw how sweaty and nervous she looked.
"Honey, are you okay?" She asked in a concerned tone.
Sophie wiped her face.
"Yes, yes, I'm fine, excuse me please." Sophie responded and quickly sprinted out of the place leaving Mrs Dacey wondering what just happened.
Sophie rushed to the female toilet and shut the door, she leaned on it as she placed her hands on her chest.
"I should call Asher, yes I should." She muttered and slid her hands inside the phone then brought out her phone, she knew he's gonna be mad
