MIA’S POV
I stare at him, wondering when he will let out an uproar and say.
“Oh, I was just messing with you,”
His eyes trailed down my body gently and when our eyes met I could not get myself to look away from him, It was strange to be captivated and mesmerized by someone that you barely know.
"Mia, I am waiting for your response," he spoke in a hoarse tone. I swallowed.
"Wait, you weren't kidding?" I asked trying to wrap my head around the fact that the Lycan wanted me to be his mate. It was so strange.
He frowned at me, moving closer to me, with each stride, my heartbeat elevated, till he was standing right in front of me and I couldn't help but lower my gaze to the floor in order to avoid eye contact with me.
