We had taken twenty steps at most and I felt as if the ground had began wobbling. Logan and Brum were behind me, all sticking close to me and not falling back. All that mattered was getting Raven.
My eyes went wide, Raven’s father disappearing into thin air then the two creatures after him. I rushed to where they disappeared, scared that they had left us behind, not even wanting to comprehend what they had done to disappear but jumping right where they had walked through and I felt my stomach turn.
My wolf was clawing from inside, not liking it. I felt as if my brain was floating in my head with my feet touching ground. I felt my stomach turn again, thinking I would vomit but I held it all in. My head turned, eyes taking in where we were and goddess, we were standing right before a gate. It was the largest gate I had ever seen, tall and glorious as if it had taken many years to build it.
