Mile’s POV
Immediately after we got off the plane, I texted Sam and told him to come and pick me up at the airport. On his part, Grayham took a cab back to Kaden home.
Only a few words were said between us since we left Charlie’s residence. We had dinner separately and while I lay in bed and waited for our departure time, Grayham stepped out and came just in time for us to leave for the airport.
I spotted the Bentley driving toward me and I began taking steps toward it. It was a few minutes past 6 pm.
Sam stepped out of the car, took my bag, and placed it in the trunk. I went to the front seat of the car and settled.
“How was your trip, sir?” Sam demanded while adjusting his seat belt.
“It was good. Thanks for asking.”
He nodded and started the car.
As he swerved down the road, I pulled out my phone and sent a text message.
About thirty minutes later, the car reached the Wilson mansion and after we dropped at the parking lot, I spotted Grayham’s Grandpa and Lily at the entrance.
