Grayham’s POV
I stared at the letter, my eyes roving from one end of the paper to the other.
Does this mean that Alex knew his condition was deteriorating yet he didn’t say a word? He knew he was going to die?
My eyes blinked in disbelief and I immediately crumbled the letter. It was touching that he considered me worthy to have left a note but I would have been more satisfied if it came with a manual on how to reverse the curse.
I threw the ball of crushed paper into the bin and couldn’t help but wonder whether he left a note for Miles as well but then till his death, Miles didn’t know that his father was aware of our situation.
Should I tell him?
