THIRD PERSON'S POV
Miranda tossed and turned in bed, struggling to fall asleep. The night had been long and exhausting, especially since she and Taurus had to fight that rogue. After returning to the mansion, Eliza started behaving strangely. She didn't speak much, she just excused herself to her quarters.
Miranda found it surprising that Alpha Nolan assigned the mad wolf her own quarters, but she chose not to mention it. Miranda, too, was tired and needed to get some rest ASAP.
When she got to the room, Miranda took a quick shower and then fell into bed under the covers. It took her a while, but she eventually felt relaxed enough to fall asleep.
She had only been sleeping for about thirty minutes when the lights on the left side of the bed turned on.
