"We've been walking for days, and I'm tired and fucking hungry. I feel like my insides are rotting away," Nigel complained as he stopped and sat on a boulder. He made things sound more dramatic than they were. The group was only travelling for like twelve hours. He grabbed a twig and scraped what he hoped was gum off the bottom of his shoe. He gagged when he sniffed the end of this stick and realized it was shit.
Miranda noticed that Nigel had stopped, prompting her to do so as well. Although she felt uncomfortable keeping the information about Sylvester and Sephtis to herself, she chose to focus on one problem at a time. Switching back was her main priority right now.
Miranda remarked, "Hey, if you keep stopping like this, you'll slow us down.” She looked over her shoulder and noticed Lazarus, Velma, Valko, and Duran disappearing up the path ahead. “Hurry, we have to move or we'll get left behind.”
