Summer POV
Ezra dragged me upstairs and pushed me to the bed while he marched into the bathroom to clean his bloody fist.
“Aren’t you going to say anything?” I asked.
My response was the sound of water running. He hadn’t said a word while he picked up his brother’s unconscious body and took it outside. I knew better than to follow him so I snuck into the kitchen and peeked out the window. Ezra dumped Hunter in the storage shed. He would smell a lot worse than he already did because the shed was a refuge for wildlife.
“How did you find him?” he asked.
“He was locked in the wall. Do you have secret rooms in the house or what?”
It was an old creepy castle it must have more than a few secrets.
He folded his arms over his chest. Irritation and frustration rolled off him. I let out a shaky breath. Hunter’s been missing for days and each time I asked about him Ezra brushed me off. I thought they got into a sibling squabble. Unl
