The grouchy but slightly good-looking Alpha smirked maliciously. He had the silver fox look going on. “I’ll be damned before that happened.”
I crossed my arms over my chest. “Are you against women being Alpha?”
“There are female Alphas but none that have sat in the Alpha’s council.”
I rolled my eyes. “Well, Mister, if you ask me. The Alpha’s council is outdated anyway. Let Alpha Ezra go and your Packs won’t feel the effects once he’s out!”
He brushed off my comments as if they were merely wind.
“Ezra’s not going anywhere. Aside from taking three Packs illegally, he’s responsible for the deaths of three Alphas and entire councils and elders. That sort of behaviour is unwarranted! We can’t allow a tyrant to become Alpha King.”
