***Melissa's POV***
A week has passed ever since Xavier told me that I can't be his Luna. I've been in doors mostly and even when I come out of my room, I only go to one particular spot to watch the din, the moon, or the clouds.
Since I can't be a Luna like I had thought I would, I think it's best to just live my life, watching the sun, the moon, and stars until the goddess days otherwise. What's more important to me right now is the peace I have. I can't lose that peace for anything in the world. As long as I have peace, I don't think there's anything for me to be worried about.
I walked out of my room as usual to go see the night sky, since it was getting dark. But just as I headed there, I suddenly heard footsteps behind me. I paused and quickly turned around.
“Miss Melissa, I'm sorry if I startled you. I thought you were about to go to your usual spot, and so I wanted to keep you company,” the maid I rarely saw said to me.
“Huh?”
“I'm the maid who brought you breakfast today.
