***Melissa's POV***
Finally, it was morning and the day of the trial. At this point, I was perplexed. All those I regarded as family members loved me. Jasmine only faked forgiveness, all, so she could kill me. What offense did I really commit for them to trust me this way? Didn't I try my best to be good to them? Why do they hate me so much? What did I ever do?
All of these questions played in my head as I stood right in front of the crowd for my trail.
Jasmine was dragged towards where I stood by Alpha Xavier's men.
“Alpha Xavier, may I know why you decided to humiliate my daughter this way?”
My dad asked. Did he really know what Jasmine plotted? Could it be that he was just pretending not to know?
