Aria hugged Lilith for one last time before she stepped back. “Thank you for everything, Lilith.”
“Shush,” Lilith shook her head at Aria when she sensed her about to start crying.
Aria was leaving the pack forever but she wouldn’t be alone. Chris would be with her.
She glanced at her mate with a weak smile when he slipped his hand in Aria’s right hand, interlacing their fingers.
Chris squeezed her hand tight to reassure Aria that no matter what happens, he would be with her, always and forever.
Aria wasn’t sad that she was leaving the pack except for the fact that she would miss her mother and Lilith. She was looking forward to a new start.
This was also a way for her to repent. She couldn’t even look at Lilith in the eyes after what she did to her.
Alpha Blaze was nice enough to spare her life after all the crimes she committed.
