“How could you girls know he was right there and none of you said anything about it?” I asked them, still feeling angry as I returned home. I was pacing back and forth in front of the door. My heart was beating hard, my hands were shaking, and my eyes burning with tears that bluntly refused to fall. The anger that had been building up over the past few hours now boiled over and threatened to erupt all at once. I couldn’t take this anymore and if they had only told me sooner then maybe we could have- I could have avoided him.
“How are we supposed to tell you that your former mate was around getting you to react like this? You would have done that one way or the other”
“Shut up Layla! fucking shut up!” I yell
