“That was really cruel of you,” Steven said, entering the office. I knew I would hear the reprimand from my Beta the moment I left my ‘luna’ in the middle of a silenced hall.
I did not want her depending on me for motivation because I was not one. I will never be one to her.
“Don’t start.” I gritted out.
“I will. I will fucking start Kelvin. I am your Beta and I am to make sure my Alpha is fully sane.” He said adamantly.
I hissed out. “Steven, don't overstep your bounds.”
“I am not. Kelvin, I am not. You left her there. Did you see the look on her face? She was helpless. Scared. Afraid that she was not accepted and-”
