“The baby looks just the way it should, Luna.” The Doctor says.
“Can you see the gender?” I ask her, and she moves the ultrasound wand around on my stomach.
Jacob isn’t here. He left two days ago to help a nearby small pack that hunters had attacked. So I have been here helping Alan with the pack, but today was my doctor's appointment. So I here I was alone, or I thought I was. The door opened, and Laura came in, looking as if she had rushed to get there.
“Am I too late?” She asked, and Doctor Lisa and I laughed.
“No, Luna, you are just in time. Sit down, and I will see if this little one will let me see if it’s a boy or a girl.” Doctor Lisa said, and Laura sat down next to me and smiled.
“Sorry, I’m late. Alan needed help for a minute.” She says.
“It is okay, and I didn’t think anyone would be here,” I say.
