As I neared the main door of Xavier's house, my heartbeat started beating rapidly.
This was it.
This was the end of Evelyn and Xavier.
I couldn't take it anymore so I turned around and walked out of the door. Few steps further I heard Alexander's voice echo in my ear, "Where's Rose, Daddy?" My little munchkin asked, I could not let him see me in this position, the situation where I was unable to make out the meaning of anything, where I couldn't bear the pain of Xavier's allegations right now, how would I answer Alexander's innocent questions.
