When I got to the main sitting room in the lower half of the Alpha house, I found Aria sitting on the couch, reading. Without a second thought, I crawled onto the couch and laid my head in her lap. She chuckled and set her book aside.
“How was fae training?” Aria asked.
“Exhausting. I need to learn so much.” I groaned.
“It was a wise choice, then. If you have a lot to learn there, think of how much easier all of the other training will be for you.” She said.
“You have a point, but I don’t like it.” I laughed.
