Ava’s POV
Two hours had passed.
I sat in Arthur’s office, staring at the stack of documents Charles had pulled from my mother’s office. My hands trembled as I reached for them.
“This is everything we found,” Charles said, his voice neutral. “All the documents, all the records. Everything.”
Arthur sat beside me, his jaw clenched, his golden eyes cold as he flipped through the papers.
