Ava’s POV
I barely heard the Elders’ accusations ringing through Arthur’s office. My heart was pounding too loudly.
“You are unfit to be Luna of this pack.”
Tears flowing down my cheeks, almost weighing me down. They were not wrong but it was just sad that no matter how hard I try I will never be loved by anyone.
I had to find my mother. At least I should apologize to the one person that made me who I was today.
Ignoring Arthur’s calls, I rushed out of the office and into the hallway. I ran down the hallway, but I couldn't find her, it was as if she had disappeared into thin air.
I saw a maid cleaning the sculptures, so I rushed to her. “Have you seen my mother?” I demanded.
She nodded, pointing to the direction. “I think she went that way.”
I nodded and went in that direction.
“Luna, be careful,” she shouted after me. “You are pregnant.”
I ignored her warnings and ran after my mother, not actually running but it was more of pushing all my strength to get to my mother.
