I rushed into my room, holding my son tightly in my arms. My breath was shaky with rage, my heart pounding in my chest. Everything was falling apart, my mother had turned against me.
The council had betrayed me and Arthur, the one council I fought hard to win their trust had turned their backs on me, the moment Arthur and now my son’s future was in danger.
