Ava’s POV
Anna’s eyes widened in shock as I finished telling her what had happened, she paced around my room, her arms crossed under her breasts, her expression filled with disbelief.
“I can’t believe this,” she muttered, shaking her head. “I never thought your mother could be this… evil, Well I mean she was evil but not like this, I just always thought she was strict, but this?” She stopped pacing and turned to me, her blue eyes full of concern. “Ava, this is beyond betrayal, she’s trying to take everything from you.”
“I'm surprised your parents let you come here after hearing everything about Jennifer.”
She chuckled, taking her seat. “Are you fucking kidding me, my parents kept rubbing it in my face about how right they were, I had to sneak to the Luna estate to make sure the media wasn't making assumptions…I mean this woman is rhe same woman who would kill the entire world for you.”
I inhaled deeply, closing my eyes for a few seconds. “Turns out I was nothing but a tool for her.”
